Technically named Golden Gate Promenade, the iconic Bay Trail boasts a dedicated bike and activity path through the Marina, Presidio, the restored marshlands at Chrissy Field, and the crown jewel, the Golden Gate Bridge. From the 1937-built, Art Deco café at one end to the view of Alcatraz to midway to Vista Point at the far end, there isn’t a more scenic view in the world! Circle back to ride the California Coast out to Lands End. Or choose to keep it simple on a surrey, pedaling from the Marina along the Bayshore path, out towards the bridge, and back.
