You start at the location and return there, unless you wish to leave bikes in Sausalito, as the tour ends there. We have a bike drop there and require a fee for us to re-allot the bikes back to SF. In this case, you must call from Sausalito to be guided to the bike drop location and we will help you lock up and take payment over the phone.

Choosing a bike depends on the type of ride you are looking for. The most popular bike for casual touring is the comfort hybrid. The second most popular bike is the comfort mountain. For advanced rides up to Mt. Tamalpais, a performance bike is recommended. Please consult our staff during check-in if you have any questions regarding your preferred route and which bike to choose, we are happy to accommodate a bike change from your original reservation.

We have something for all riding skill levels! We have a baby seat, a trailer which is good for carrying 1-2 toddlers and their gear, or they could be paired up with an adult via a tag-a-long or tandem bicycle. Tandem bicycles or tag-a-longs are great for the budding cyclist who pedals only when inclined, but still feels the pride of the ride!
