Tour San Francisco By Electric Bike

This San Francisco electric bike tour lets you see the city through the eyes of a local, without breaking a sweat. The tour starts out in the historic Fisherman’s Wharf district, one of the only real fisherman’s wharves left in the country.

It continues past North Beach, the Little Italy of San Francisco, down the embarcadero to the Ferry Building. See the ballpark and the textile district of San Francisco on an electric bike tour. Enjoy the flavors of the food truck park and sneak underneath the bridge of the South Of Market Tech Center.

Ride out to La Mission, and learn about the Hispanic history of the Mission and its route from Northern California to Mexico; explore the murals of Clarion Alley, and see the cool and cultured vintage shops on Valencia Street.

The San Francisco electric bike tour continues to the fabulous Castro District, where the shops embody the culture of the neighborhood. See the historic Harvey Milk Plaza and, if you are lucky, get a picture with one of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence!

This electric bike tour continues past the Wiggle and the neighborhoods of beautiful Victorian architecture, out to the trippy Haight & Ashbury district. (If you listen closely you might still hear Janice Joplin or Jerry Garcia’s voice in the wind.)

Once you’ve taken a breath of the hippie movement, this tour will continue through the Panhandle (part of the majestic Golden Gate Park) and from there you will see Civic Center, which holds iconic landmarks like City Hall, the Opera-House, and the San Francisco Ballet.

The San Francisco city tour concludes with a ride down Polk Street, and you will learn all of the changes this street has gone through; all of the phases of this iconic city have been encapsulated in the culture of the Polk. Finally, the tour concludes right where you started, and you will disembark from your bike tripping on the history of our beautiful city. (We recommend finding a local pub and enjoy the afternoon in the city of love).

Super Bikes

We rode from Union Square to Fishermans Wharf and on to the Golden Gate Bridge. Crossed it. Visited Sausalito and came back to to Union Square. A wonderful day trip. Bikes are in excellent condition and also 10 bikes at one time are no prob. as long as you book on day ahead.

New Favorite Way to Explore

This was my first time renting a bike to explore a city and I would love to do it again and again. Parkwide made renting simple, easy, and quick. If you have an extra day in San Francisco and expect sunshine I would definitely suggest renting a bike because San Francisco has great trails to see all parts of this amazing area!

Unique Way To See San Fran

Rented 3 ebikes at the Union Square. Awesome way to explore the city and ebikes make the hills manageable. My advise is that if you want to rent ebikes do it online and well in advance. The process of booking online was easy and the bikes were ready when we arrived with maps, helmets, and fully charged bikes.
